Men, transpersoner, det vill s\u00e4ga personer som identifierar sig med ett annat k\u00f6n \u00e4n det de tilldelades vid f\u00f6dseln, uppger ofta att de uts\u00e4tts f\u00f6r diskriminering i arbetslivet. Ekonomiforskare vid Link\u00f6pings universitet har nu verifierat att s\u00e5 \u00e4r fallet. Deras studie \u00e4r den f\u00f6rsta att bevisa detta med en experimentell metod.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><br>\u2013 Ur ett ekonomiskt perspektiv \u00e4r det intressant att fr\u00e5ga sig varf\u00f6r arbetsgivare inte tar tillvara p\u00e5 de h\u00e4r m\u00e4nniskornas kunskaper. Sedan ville vi ta reda p\u00e5 vilka grunder transpersoner diskrimineras p\u00e5 eftersom de faller under tv\u00e5 diskrimineringsgrunder i lagstiftningen: den om k\u00f6n samt den om k\u00f6nsidentitet och k\u00f6nsuttryck. Vi ville unders\u00f6ka p\u00e5 vilken av de grunderna arbetsgivare diskriminerar, s\u00e4ger Mark Granberg, doktorand i nationalekonomi vid Link\u00f6pings universitet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Han har utf\u00f6rt studien tillsammans med Ali Ahmed, professor i nationalekonomi och Per A. Andersson, doktorand i psykologi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tidigare studier visar att transpersoner upplever diskriminering p\u00e5 olika s\u00e4tt i arbetslivet. I en amerikansk studie fr\u00e5n 2011 anger h\u00e4lften av transpersonerna att de utsatts f\u00f6r bland annat trakasserier p\u00e5 arbetet. Men det har saknats experimentella studier om diskriminering av transpersoner p\u00e5 arbetsmarknaden, som inte bygger p\u00e5 sj\u00e4lvrapporterade erfarenheter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Diskrimineringen tydligast inom mansdominerade yrken<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Studien \u00e4r den f\u00f6rsta i sitt slag att unders\u00f6ka arbetsgivares diskriminering av transpersoner, genom ett s\u00e5 kallat korrespondenstest. Det \u00e4r en vanlig metod n\u00e4r man unders\u00f6ker diskriminering och inneb\u00e4r att testpersoner inte visar sig f\u00f6r arbetsgivaren utan skickar skriftliga ans\u00f6kningar. Forskarna fr\u00e5n Link\u00f6pings universitet skickade 2224 fiktiva ans\u00f6kningar till l\u00e5gkvalificerade jobb som fanns i arbetsf\u00f6rmedlingens platsbank. I ans\u00f6kningarna angavs att den s\u00f6kande under livet hade gjort ett namnbyte. I&nbsp;vissa fall var det&nbsp;fr\u00e5n mansnamn till mansnamn, exempelvis Erik till Simon, i andra fall \u00f6verskred namnen k\u00f6nsgr\u00e4nserna, som exempelvis att Erik blev Amanda. F\u00f6r varje ans\u00f6kan noterade forskarna sedan om de s\u00f6kande fick n\u00e5got svar och i s\u00e5 fall vilket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resultatet visar bland annat att det var 18 procent mer sannolikt att en cisperson, en person som identifierar sig med det k\u00f6n de tilldelats vid f\u00f6dseln, fick ett positivt svar fr\u00e5n arbetsgivarna p\u00e5 sina inskickade ans\u00f6kningar, j\u00e4mf\u00f6rt med en transperson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resultaten visar ocks\u00e5 skillnader mellan kvinno- och mansdominerade yrken. Vad g\u00e4ller positiva svar p\u00e5 jobbans\u00f6kningarna fann man att de st\u00f6rsta skillnaderna mellan cis- och transpersoner fanns inom de mansdominerade yrkena. Cism\u00e4nnen fick ett positivt svar fr\u00e5n arbetsgivarna i 44 procent av fallen. Transkvinnorna fick ett positivt svar i 24 procent av fallen. I de mansdominerade yrkena fick allts\u00e5 cism\u00e4n n\u00e4stan dubbelt s\u00e5 m\u00e5nga positiva svar fr\u00e5n arbetsgivare som transkvinnor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I de kvinnodominerade yrkena verkade diskrimineringen fr\u00e4mst bero p\u00e5 vilket k\u00f6n den s\u00f6kande identifierade sig med vid ans\u00f6kningstillf\u00e4llet. Bland yrken d\u00e4r det arbetar ungef\u00e4r lika m\u00e5nga m\u00e4n som kvinnor, s\u00e5g forskarna inga statistiskt s\u00e4kerst\u00e4llda skillnader mellan de olika s\u00f6kande.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lagstiftningen r\u00e4cker inte<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Studien visar att lagstiftningen inte r\u00e4cker f\u00f6r att skydda den h\u00e4r gruppen p\u00e5 arbetsmarknaden. Den visar ocks\u00e5 att arbetsgivare diskriminerar utifr\u00e5n olika grunder.
